Host Biography of  Melissa Grimmond

This Blunt, Sassy, Sarcastic and Highly opinionated personality will get to the point quickly; without hesitation. Fashion comes first: she is concerned with feeling. She has a glamorous, avante garde and elegant fashion style. 

With an Associates Degree in Fashion Arts Merchandising and Make -Up Artistry; Melissa mastered color theory, body types, wholesale fashion, trend forecasting, styling and cosmetic science. She trained professionally in NYC learning the Teleprompter, Ear Prompter and On Air Hosting and Anchoring mechanical skills with coach Pat Murphy -Stark. She perfected her Fashion & Lifestyle branding with LA Hosting Guru Marki Costello.

During her career to date, Melissa worked as a stylist for J Crew, Merchandise Coordinator for upscale Holt Renfrew in Ladies Wear and Fragrance and Cosmetics, wholesale fashion sales representing IB Diffusion and Pretty Woman and a Merchandise Coordinator for Junior Wear for their Canadian stores across Montreal to Vancouver.

Melissa was crowned Miss Toronto Tourism and became the public relations spokes girl for their Special event Trade shows: The Baby Toddler and Kids Show, The Gourmet Food and Wine Show and The Garden Show. With a passion for creating awareness for Breast Cancer. She became a Guest speaker at many of their charity events. Her Fashion & Lifestyle Segments focus on the concept “Get it Together”. It is a complete departure of the typical make over on a dime with the unrealistic ability for the average person to do a fashion or lifestyle make over with a carpenter and seamstress on hand. She focuses on the average person that earns $2000-3000/month and needs to “Get it together” in their Fashion wardrobe, home style and lifestyle.

Melissa’s goals are to be a Fashion & Lifestyle Expert Host on Cable/ TV Networks, Reality TV Fashion Judging, Game show hosting and Live Award Personality Hosting. She has the ability not only to be helpful, but truly change lives of people. She believes that when your fashion and lifestyle is in chaos your spirit entity is in chaos. So she brings tough love yet, tranquility in the end to her audience.
